WHAT IS DELTA-KILO ?

Delta-Kilo is an international CB radio group with 1100 worldwide members at present. We don´t pursue politic, religious or other interests but we have made it to our business to bring the reasonable use of CB radio into play. Our QRG is 27.365 Mhz, CH 36. Everyone can become a member who has a radio set and likes DX contacts. There should also be the interest in the reasonable use of the 11-metre band does only have to pay a single admission fee.

THE HISTORY OF DELTA-KILO

The Delta-Kilo group has been founded 5 September 1991. Its city of foundation and home town is Duelmen a city in the heart of the Muensterland in North-Rhine Westphalia. Duelmen became known with its free-running wild horses who have given the motif for our logo model to us. Duelmen is approximately 25 km south-west of Muenster in Westphalia and 40 km north-west of Dortmund. Our origin idea was not to found a DX-group. As in Duelmen there live a multitude of operators it occured to us to try to reconcile everyone. We tried to establish a federation for all operators living near Duelmen. Delta-Kilo has seen to it that every member was supplied with QSL-cards and got everything for a good QSO. Right from the start meetings were organzed. Nevertheless instantly was defined that there are no commitments for the members. Up to the present day nothing has been altered except that because of DX connections and recommendation we have parishioners from all over the world. And also up to the present day there are meetings once a month. They take place on every second Saturday in each month. In meantime we have a certain meeting point, a pleasant inn situated close to Duelmen. The meetings are also visited by members living far away.

Friendship to other groups have also grown since then. Good partners are the EAGLE´S LADS (ECHO LIMA).

How to become a Member ?

Becoming a Delta-Kilo member is very easy. Please do only send the application form together with the fee to our address. You can also apply an application form via E-MAIL or with postcard or letter. If you don't send money via post, please send E-Mail and you get our account for transfer the fee.

The fee has to be paid only once 10 EURO, for breakers living in Germany and US $ 18 or 15 EURO for foreign breakers. Only notes, please. The differences between the fee gor Germans and for foreign breakers are justified with the different postages in Germany. If you want to become a member you won´t have to pay a fee monthly. You will also get a lifetime membership. If there are rough offences against the general radio rules and against other operators membership can be terminated by Delta-Kilo. But this is only the case if the member´s behaviour is not tolerable anymore.
